What do we want to do after the World Artificial Intelligence Conference ends?

Aug 01, 2024

The 2024 World Conference on Artificial Intelligence has successfully concluded at the bank of the Huangpu River in Shanghai. The humanoid robot 18 Arhat has attracted a lot of attention in this conference. The blooming of AI technology in various fields also makes us look forward to the future. As a start-up enterprise in the field of intelligent health care robots, Rushen Robotics is honored to be invited to attend the Future Tech 100 exhibition area and appear alongside many future technology stars.

During the four-day exhibition, we not only exchanged product implementation experience with many partners on the entrepreneurial path, but also received positive feedback from the audience after experiencing the product on site. After the exhibition, we combined our own practice and observations to have a clearer direction for the future. We believe that artificial intelligence technology will not be limited to just a conversational interface, but will be integrated into smart hardware products for daily life. AI is not meant to replace humans, but to help them.

We have observed that there is a serious supply-demand imbalance in both rehabilitation and elderly care fields. The combination of robots and AI technology is undoubtedly a long-term solution to such social problems. However, from a practical perspective, the commercialization of embodied intelligence technology in the above two fields still requires time. Entrepreneurial companies require both a broad perspective and a commercially viable closed-loop solution in the short term. Therefore, Rushen Robotics has developed a product strategy of "three-step health care robot".

the first step

Intelligent Multi in One Home Rehabilitation System

The UniGym intelligent multi in one home rehabilitation system is the world's first rehabilitation product that achieves full coverage of the hands, upper limbs, and lower limbs. Its compact, lightweight, and portable body is designed specifically for home scenarios. The electric suction cup at the bottom of the device can firmly adhere to any desktop or floor in the home, thus achieving full house usability. After the battery is fully charged, it can support one week of normal use, freeing itself from the constraints of power cords and truly enabling anytime, anywhere, on and off use.

UniGym adopts a modular design of the new generation of multifunctional household appliances, like Dyson, with a single host compatible with multifunctional accessories. There are 2 types of training modules and 6 types of training accessories, which can be assembled in two steps and easily disassembled and replaced with just one click. With over 10 training movements, a single product is used to achieve rehabilitation training for all joints of the hands and upper and lower limbs, replacing mainstream single function products on the market.

UniGym is a specialized intelligent app that supports 4 training modes for free selection, establishes personalized training plans, adjusts training parameters in real time, and also has rich functions such as training video tutorials, fun training games, and training data reports. In the future, we will also integrate advanced functions such as AI voice interaction, digital rehabilitation coaching, and parameter adaptive adjustment into the APP, achieving intelligent upgrades that combine software and hardware.

Step two

Intelligent universal rehabilitation robot

The B1 intelligent universal rehabilitation robot is a rehabilitation robot with learning ability, which can learn the trajectory and strength of the rehabilitation therapist's treatment actions and accurately reproduce them on the patient. This not only reduces the workload of rehabilitation therapists, but also allows them to simultaneously take care of multiple patients, solving the problem of insufficient manpower for rehabilitation therapists in China.

The workspace of the B1 robot can accommodate patients in three training positions: lying down, sitting, and standing. Combined with four progressive training modes, it can accompany patients throughout the entire rehabilitation cycle. Paired with various end tools, it can cover composite movements of the upper and lower limbs in three-dimensional space and separate movements of a single joint. The motion trajectory can be freely set, tailored for patients, to achieve personalized rehabilitation.

The high-precision force sensing system for spaces can monitor the mechanical information of patients during the training process in real time, ensuring smooth and safe training movements. The data collected during the training process will also be used to train AI rehabilitation models in the future, which can automatically set robot training plans based on patient data. The B1 robot can be used in rehabilitation institution scenarios, combined with UniGym's home scenarios, to break down the information barrier from hospital rehabilitation to home rehabilitation and achieve data connectivity.

Step three

Intelligent health care robot

The Q1 intelligent health care robot is designed specifically for the elderly at home, and is a robot that has both rehabilitation training and home service capabilities. It can assist users in rehabilitation and fitness, and provide comprehensive home services, including elderly care, household chores, emotional companionship, social interaction, memory assistance, action assistance, and other functions.

The Q1 robot adopts a 7-degree-of-freedom force controlled robotic arm and a multi degree-of-freedom dexterous hand, capable of performing both fine and heavy load operations. The bottom adopts a deformable innovative wheel foot scheme, which can move flexibly in all directions through narrow passages and even climb stairs. The foldable waist design provides lifting capability, can be used as a cargo tray, and can also be used for carrying people.

Space is a drone interaction designed specifically for the elderly, which understands users' various needs and instructions in a natural and intuitive way, and provides feedback. AI can also empower robots with stronger active interaction capabilities, allowing them to think like humans, communicate with humans, become friends with users, provide thoughtful advice, and anticipate potential risks.

product strategy

Three step walking of health care robot

The product strategy of "three-step approach for health and wellness robots" is to further launch universal robots for professional medical scenarios based on the rapid commercialization of closed-loop products (UniGym is about to be launched domestically and internationally), and ultimately create a robot solution for rehabilitation and elderly care. From single degree of freedom devices to multi degree of freedom robots, and then to humanoid robots, gradually realizing the ultimate product form of embodied intelligence. We believe in and are committed to making safe, effective, and fun products step by step.

Space intelligent health care robots are an inevitable way to solve the problem of elderly care in human society, and also a direct reflection of technological progress promoting human care. We are down-to-earth and heading towards the future!
